About us

Built to a higher standard

White Maple Construction designs and builds custom homes and major additions across Bergen, Essex, Morris, and Union counties. We’re a design-build firm, which means one team carries your project from the first sketch to the final walkthrough — no handoffs, no finger-pointing, no gaps where things slip through.

Whether this is your first major project or your third, what you’re after is the same: a home built right, on a budget that doesn’t move out from under you. The budget blowups we hear about almost never come down to the market or bad luck — they start with a scope that was never priced honestly before the contract. We built White Maple to get that part right, so the rest of the project has nothing to hide behind. Here’s what that looks like in practice.

Why White Maple Construction?

One team from concept to completion

As a design-build firm, we manage your entire project under one roof — from architectural design through the final walkthrough. One team, one point of accountability, no gaps between what the designer intended and what the builder delivers. Already have plans? We work with those too.

You'll always know what's happening

Every White Maple project runs on a documented schedule, daily logs, and a client dashboard you can check anytime. When something changes — a delivery date, an inspection, a subcontractor’s arrival — you hear it from us first, before you have to ask. In an industry known for going quiet, we’ve built our reputation on never leaving you guessing.

A fixed price before construction begins

Our Two-Build Rule means your project is built twice: once on paper, once in the field. By the end of the First Build — our pre-construction phase — your plans are finalized, your selections are locked in, and your price is fixed in a Construction Contract. No allowances that balloon later, no estimate that quietly becomes a bigger number. If we spot a risk or dependency, you hear about it before construction starts, not after.

Built to finish, not just to start

A remodel or custom build disrupts your life — there’s no way around that. What we control is how long it lasts and how it ends. Because every decision is made before construction begins, the Second Build moves without the stalls and change orders that drag other projects out. A White Maple job isn’t done until the last piece of blue tape is gone — and even then, we’re not. We schedule proactive visits at 6 and 12 months after completion to inspect our work, catch anything that’s settled or shifted, and take care of it. You don’t have to call us; we’re already on your calendar.
