A new home can be financed in a variety of ways. The most common of which is a construction loan. In addition, there is a specific loan option called construction to permanent, that works like a construction loan until your build is complete. Then the bank will review and convert the loan to a fixed-rate mortgage. 

The cost of a new home will vary depending on your goals, the size of your home, and materials and finishes you choose. In northern NJ a gut renovation usually starts at $650,000.

Yes you do — but don’t worry. As your general contractor, White Maple Constructions handles the entire permitting process so you won’t be required to learn the ins and outs of your municipality’s building regulations.

The size, scale, and complexity of your custom build will all affect the timeline. Typically, you can expect a new home build to take between 9 months to 18 months. Our team prioritizes transparency, so if there are delays or any issue affecting your timeline, we’ll let you know right away and work to resolve issues quickly.

We begin with a consultation to understand your dream home and goals. Then, we schedule an on-site meeting to view your property and work up an estimate for your project. Once we have an agreement signed, we’ll move into pre-construction planning, where we’ll work together on your design and project schedule. Then we’ll break ground and get started!

We take a design-build approach, meaning we manage every aspect of your project from concept to completion, including getting the designs made and managing through to construction, reducing stress and ensuring a cohesive outcome.
